Itinerary

Day 2 : MADRID
- Bienvenido / Be greeted at the airport by your Prométour Tour Director. They will remain with your group for the duration of your visit.
- Transfer by motor coach to your centrally located hotel near the Puerta del Sol district.
- This afternoon, meet your local guide for a complete tour of the city. See the Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España, plaza de Oriente and the narrow little streets of old Madrid.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 4 : GRANADA
- After breakfast at your hotel, visit the exquisite Alhambra, built in the 13th century to reflect the idea of Paradise on Earth. Then visit the country estate of the Nasrid kings. Enter the Palacio de Carlos V, home to an impressive art collection. Test its unique acoustics.
- Later, have some free time to explore the Albaycín quarter and to admire the Alhambra from the Mirador de San Nicolas.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 5 : SEVILLE
- This morning head to Sevilla, la maravilla. Enjoy a guided tour of Seville taking in The Alcazar, a fortress palace built by the Moors. The Cathedra, the largest Gothic building in Europe. La Giralda, a minaret built in the 12th century.
- Discover the barrio de Santa Cruz and Sevilla’s old Jewish quarter with your Tour Director.
- Enjoy the rest of the afternoon on your own, to shop and explore the city at your own pace.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 6 : FRONTERA / LAGOS
- After breakfast, head to Jerez de la Frontera. Then at the Real Escuela de Andaluza de Arte Ecuestre, see how the Arabian horses are trained.
- Then leave for Portugal, cross the border and Bon dia, Portugal.
- Transfer to Lagos, set on one of the largest bays in the Algarve. Enjoy free time to explore the town at your own pace.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 7 : LAGOS
- After breakfast, make a stop at the picturesque harbor of Sagres, the most south-westerly town in mainland Europe. Visit the remains of Prince Henry the Navigator, see the Rosa de Ventos giant wind compass (43m in diameter), look across to Cabo de Sao Vicente and out towards the open Atlantic.
- Return to Lagos, and enjoy a free afternoon at the beach.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 8 : LISBON
- After breakfast, pack up and depart for Lisbon. Make a stop to see the Tower of Belem. Built as a fortress in the 16th Century, it was the starting point for the navigators who set out to discover new trade routes. The tower later became a symbol of Portugal’s great era of expansion.
- Next, enter the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, a true symbol of the wealth of the age of discovery. Marvel at the tiled walls of the refectory, the delicate arches of the cloister, and the majestic tomb of Vasco da Gama.
- Continue onto your centrally located hotel and get settled in.

Day 9 : LISBON
- This morning, head up to The Castelo de Sao Jorge for a superb panoramic view over Lisbon.
- Next, take a walking tour of the old city, including the Rossio Square, Figueira Square the Restauradores Monument, and the ruins of Carmo Church.
- Continue onto the Alfama district and take some free time to wander through its labyrinth-like streets.
- Dinner as a group with your Prométour Tour Director.

Day 10 : RETURN FLIGHT FROM PORTUGAL
- Breakfast at the hotel with your Prométour Tour Director.
- Transfer to the airport & board you flight home.
