Itinerary
- DAY 1: TRAVEL TO FRANCE
- Fly through the night to Nice (via Paris)
- DAY 2: NICE
- Meet your Prométour Tour Director at the airport in Nice and Transfer to your centrally located hotel for check-in.
- Follow your Prométour Tour Director on a walk through Vieux Nice.
- Visit Confiserie Florian – Learn how the fruits and flowers of the area are made into flower and citrus fruit marmalades, crystallized flowers, glazed fruits and three chocolate orangettes... follow your visit with a tasting and of course the opportunity to purchase!
- Dinner with your Prometour Tour Director.
- DAY 3: MONACO / NICE
- Depart for Monaco by train (20 minutes).
- See the Changing of the Guards in front of Prince Rainer's Palace followed by a visit of the Palace (subject to availability).
- Spend some time exploring 90 tanks full of the most exotic sea creatures you will ever see at the Monaco Aquarium.
- Board the “Azur Express” Tourist Train and see some of the highlights Monaco has to offer.
- Have free time to pretend to live the life of the rich & famous in Monte Carlo.
- Return to Nice for dinner and night accommodation.
- DAY 4: ANTIBES / NICE
- Travel by train to Antibes, in the heart of the French Riviera (15 minutes).
- From Port Vauban catch the free navette up to Fort Carré for a visit and to enjoy the 360? view.
- Enjoy the walk back down along the winding path.
- Back in town learn about the history and customs of the area at Musée de La Tour.
- Free time to explore the Marché Provençal and streets of the Old Town, dominated by the Château Grimaldi or to enjoy the beach.
- Return to Nice for dinner and night accommodation.
- DAY 5: ST.PAUL-DE-VENCE / GRASSE / NICE
- Board your bus and travel to the charming hilltop fortified village of Saint Paul de Vence.
- Walk through its winding streets of elegant fountains, vine-covered stone walls and enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains and sea.
- Free time to explore the art galleries, boutiques and sidewalk cafes.
- Continue to Grasse – Learn how French perfumes are made at the Parfumerie Galimard in Grasse.
- Return to Nice for dinner and night accommodation.
- DAY 6: CANNES / ILE SAINTE MARGUERITE / NICE
- Travel by train to Cannes, home to the world famous Cannes International Film Festival (30 minutes).
- Take a walk along the Croisette and have some time to explore the boutiques on Rue d’Antibes.
- With your Tour Director go to a local grocery store and purchase picnic supplies.
- Catch the ferry over to Ile Sainte Marguerite (15 minutes).
- Enjoy lunch by the beach under the umbrella pines and eucalyptus.
- Visit the Fort Royal - it is said that the “Man in the Iron Mask” was held here in the 17th century.
- Return to Cannes by ferry and catch your train back to Nice for dinner and night accommodation.
- DAY 7: VILLEFRANCHE SUR MER / NICE
- Board a train and travel to Villefranche Sur Mer, a typical small seaside village (10 minutes).
- Enjoy time to explore the charming old town's narrow medieval streets, or if you are there on a weekend, mingle with the locals at the produce market (Saturday) or the second-hand market (Sunday).
- There is a also a small and sandy beach to relax on and catch some sun.
- Return to Nice for some free time before dinner with your Prométour Tour Director.
- DAY 8: NICE
- This morning head to a local Boule ground for a game of traditional "pétanque".
- Free time to shop, sunbathe or just people-watch at a busy French Café.
- Meet your Prométour Tour Director for a farewell dinner.
- Take an evening stroll along the Promenade des Anglais.
- DAY 9: RETURN HOME
- Transfer to the airport for your return flight back home
